The area of application is the vending industry (beverage sector). The customer’s objective was to reduce costs and lead time. Again, this is a metal replacement project: a die-cast part machined on CNC equipment has been replaced by a PEEK engineering polymer part with excellent mechanical and chemical properties and resistance to high operating temperatures. Directly moulded parts with centimetre tolerances were the result of a highly ambitious project.
